In November 2023, the third Jewish Culture Week in Augsburg and Swabia will take place, showcasing the diversity of Jewish culture. After the ceremonial opening with the Jewish Chamber Orchestra Munich, this time some events are dedicated to culinary topics. You have the chance to learn more about bread and wine in Judaism as well as exciting Jewish beer brewing stories.
Beyond questions and discussions you can also become active yourself: A klezmer workshop with the Ensemble Feygele invites young people to discover this Jewish musical tradition. The cultural week concludes with the J-Quiz, a playful knowledge bingo about Jewish religion and culture, where you can test your knowledge.
