LEBENSLINIEN | German-Jewish family histories

The contemporary witness project LEBENSLINIEN/LIFELINES, which was launched in 2002 by the Jewish Museum Augsburg Swabia and the Sensemble Theater, consisted of four sub-projects for many years: a matinee in the theater, contemporary witness workshops with school classes, which were recorded and made available on DVD, and a catalog on the respective LEBENSLINIEN – an offer to pass on and read.

As there are only a few first-generation eyewitnesses left for whom it is hardly possible to travel to Germany, the LEBENSLINIEN have been continued since 2019 as LEBENSLINIEN 2.0, which focuses on the second and third generations.
