Cultural Heritage of Minorities in Ukraine.

Accompanying programme: „Voices. A Mosaic of Ukrainian-Jewish Life

In the more than 80 years since the Shoah, a private, as well as a public culture of memory, has developed in Ukraine. How does memory culture change after recent traumatic events, like the annexation of Crimea in 2014 and the Russian-Ukrainian war? And what kind of  memory culture arises around these new traumatic events themselves?

These and other questions will be discussed by Ukrainian activists from the field of memory culture and the curators of the exhibition “Voices”.
